The latter accused Avril of copying her song “Girlfriend” from their song called “I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend.” But her music company denied both accusations and dismissed the suit filed. I don’t even know what to react to that, she’s just so… Avril.

In the history of music, there have been tales of terror about musical “divas” that strike fear into concert producers, hotel managers, designers, hair people, make-up people and the like. Hence bitchy behavior, impossible demands, and temper tantrums are the norm for them. Now you can add another name to that list - someone that, IMHO does not deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as the aforementioned: Beyonce Knowles. Yup, first she sent a body double (who looked more like an anorexic Leona Lewis than her) to sub for her at an art gallery opening hoping that people would not notice the difference (They did. What tipped them off? About a foot of ass missing from the body double’s behind). And now, a recent trip to London further reinforced the idea that this major diva is a major bitch.

Staying at the renowned Mandarin Hotel at Hype Park in London, she was invited to take a tour of popular UK department store Harvey Nichols and she agreed. Since the store was right across the street from her hotel, they figured she would have no trouble getting there. Boy, were they wrong. Apparently Miss Thunder Thighs did not want to walk across the street, instead demanded that she be driven there, along with two vehicles of personal assistants and bodyguards. So rather than a one-minute walk, it took them more than 20 minutes to get in the limos, drive down the street, make a u-turn, and park in front of the store, where Beyonce spent 20 minutes walking around and took the same way getting back to her hotel. Yes, it happened.

Now, if someone like Liza or Bette or Cher did something like this, it would be completely acceptable. These are living legends who have contributed a treasure trove of talent to the music industry for decades. And Beyonce? Aside from teaching gals how to be “bootylicious” and having an on-screen catfight with Ali Larter in Obsessed, she has done shit. She’s only been around for a couple of years and already she’s acting like a grade-A cunt. She’s just another product of the music hit factory and grates her way through her “music” with nothing to back her. Maybe that’s exactly why she’s doing what she’s doing because she knows she’s not in it for the long run. That her celebrity has a shelf life. And that she knows she has zero talent. I won’t be surprised if soon she takes it all off for some slutty magazine as a last-ditch attempt to stay relevant. In this case, I am inclined to believe that. Yes, British wild child Peaches Geldoff has just been quoted as saying that she’s a much better role model for young women than Miley Cyrus would ever be. She cites Miley’s pre-packaged glossy goody-two-shoes fake persona as something that is eviscerating the originality of the youth of the world.

Peaches was quoted as saying “These girls that have been upheld as role models who are literally just girls who have been ferried from place to place, media trained, told what to do and just like complete veneers of people - people who are not even real. I’ve made mistakes, now I’ve come up from that and I’ve really bettered myself.” Yes, getting kicked out of your parents home for bad behavior, doing drugs every chance you get, getting a big-ass tattoo on your backside, and posing topless on public beaches is “bettering” one’s self? Excuse me while I use an English phrase, but I beg to differ. Any one who takes one look at Peaches knows she’s got troublemaker written all over her. To call herself a role model is to call Paris Hilton a virgin. It’s a flat-out lie.

On the other hand, little miss Disney isn’t any better herself. Dressing up like a two dollar hooker since the age of 15 doesn’t exactly qualify as being a role model. I think she single-handedly was responsible for twelve-year-olds wearing micro-mini skirts. And tranny make-up. Plus the fact that you know she’s getting a mouth full of adult boyfriend cock every chance she gets. That’s another thing. A minor having a grown-up for a boyfriend? Parents across America must be shocked. So amongst these two, I will not side with either of them. She carried a baby for nine months, then weaned the baby for months after, so it’s no surprise that as soon as Ashlee Simpson decided to stop breastfeeding, she hit the sauce big time. Too bad it happened in a public place. At a high-profile event. In front of her husband Pete Wentz’s ex-girlfriend. And to make matters worse - bitch went ahead and said something really really nasty. Yup. The triangle of Ashlee Simpson, Pete Wentz, and ex-girlfriend Michelle Trachtenberg found themselves in a very awkward moment when Ashlee went a little too far with the booze and experienced verbal diarrhea directed towards Michelle.

The three were at the DJ Hero video game launch party and people could see that the group did look awkward with each other. Actually, it was Ashlee who looked uncomfortable with the situation. Obviously, she seemed like she had something to say, but didn’t for the sake of propriety. Then, the booze started flowing. Soon after, Ashlee started acting differently and began gyrating stripper-like on Pete which kinda made things uncomfortable for EVERYONE at the party. Sure enough, Pete decided to pull his missus away to a more private location when, upon leaving, witnesses heard Ashlee say to Michelle “I hope you know, the whole time you were dating Pete, I was fucking him!” which just left Michelle looking stunned and confused. What a way to make a spectacle of one’s self, huh?

I don’t know what brought this about. If it was Ashlee who cheated on Michelle and Pete’s relationship, then why is she the one being a bitch? I guess no one will ever know. All we know is that Pete told people that the whole thing was just a little misunderstanding and that Ashlee apoloigized to Michelle for the remark and now eveything is hunky-dory. Sound kinda fishy to me, but hey, Hollywood is such a small town. These two are bound to run into each other again, and when that happens you can be sure the paps will be all over that shit. One thing I do know for sure, I don’t think Michelle will be guesting on Melrose Place 2.0 anytime soon until this whole thing blows over. What started out as an exciting team-up is now turning into one big bitch fest over on the set of Iron Man 2. The summer blockbuster has been getting a lot of on-set buzz because of it’s two lead female stars. Gwyneth Paltrow who is reprising her role as Pepper Potts is rumored to be cold and unfeeling towards the Black Widow herself Scarlett Johansson. Apparently GOOP has a little bit of an ego problem as she seems to be resenting the attention (both from the press and the crew) that ScarJo has been getting (and continues to get) as the sexy and seductive villain in next year’s blockbuster. She seems to be jealous of everything from the director’s attention down to the tight-fitting attention-grabbing costumes Scarlett has to wear for the role. Since Pepper is more of a behind-the-scenes kind of gal, GOOP is always clad in no-nonsense business suits and cocktail dresses while ScarJo gets to look like pretty much a whore everyday. And Gwynnie doesn’t like it one little bit.

This isn’t the only controversy surrounding the sequel. Aside from the cast change from Terrence Howard to Don Cheadle in the role of Jim Rhodes (aka War machine), Scarlett herself was only the second choice to play Black Widow. The Devil Wears Prada’s Emily Blunt was originally cast in the role but had to back out due to scheduling conflicts. Another thing that GOOP seemed to be pissed about. She was looking forward to working with the British actress, stating that she and her have more in common than she and Scarlett. Says a source close to the star “They come from different worlds and have completely different styles. Gwyneth has found Scarlett very demanding of the attention of the crew. It’s not a happy set. Gwyneth was looking forward to working with Emily Blunt, who was originally in line for the part, but it ended up being Scarlett. Gwyneth’s had to live with that and she has been very professional, but she and Scarlett haven’t developed a friendship on the shoot, which is almost at the half way point. In fact, it’s quite the opposite.”

All of a sudden I’m interested in this movie for completely different reasons now. I know that these two hot babes are professional actresses and wouldn’t do anythihng to endager the shoot, but the premiere night and the press junkets will be an entirely different scene altogether. I can just imagine them being forced together - light and dark - for promotional shoots and press junkets. Let’s hope that all the animosity or ignoring would cease by the time the shoot is over. But at the same time, I’ll be waiting with bated breath for little euphemisms and innuendos that the two will surely have for each other. But Madonna insists to go with a Kabbalah ceremony which may not actually be legally binding. Says the father “I don’t know if there will, in fact, be a real marriage between Madonna and my son. It will be a type of ritual, but I do not know Kabbalah [or if the ceremony] will have legal validity,” So I suppose that takes care of the question of exactly how much Jesus is getting paid to be Madonna’s butt boy. Since it’s not gonna be a recognized ceremony by law, all of Madge’s millions will stay with her after she gets tired of this year’s model.

Despite the age gap (or perhaps because of it), Madonna intends on making this family official because of Jesus’ fondness and closeness with Madonna’s kids - Lourdes, 13, Rocco, 9 and David Banda, 4.  At a mere 22 years of age, he could very well be their big brother, not fucking their mom/being their stepdad. My mind instantly wanders to sick and twisted territory as I feel some kind of sordid affair between Jesus and sexually burgeoning Lourdes might come about. Jesus looks like the kind of skanky type that might just do that.

But when all is said and done, after the english speaking lessons and the trophy boyfriending, Madonna has made quite an investment in Jesus and it looks like she’s not planning on letting her hooks free of him anytime soon. With Madge’s penchant for youth-obsessing (the only way she can stay relevant over 50), this latest attempt at trying to be younger just looks like a desperate move on her part. Right now this stylish siren is in the middle of shooting the sequel to last year’s surprise mega hit film adaptation of her very successful and Emmy-winning smash TV series, but sources say she’s not planning on any other project afterward. Mainly because she’s getting ready for the arrival of her twin girls (or twin foals, as one website so cruelly put) from a surrogate mother. A surrogate who apparently has a slightly less-than-wholesome background. The woman is supposedly a punk-rockin’, pink-haired, part-time carpet muncher. Quite simply, she’s a bisexual rocker chick. But SJP and her husband Matthew Broderick chose her anyway, perhaps because this isn’t the first surrogacy the woman experienced. She previously carried a baby to term for a gay couple and is now on her way to being THE celebrity surrogate. Okay, so maybe not, but if she ever decides to do this for a living, I’m sure SJP can find someone else in the Hollywood universe who’d be interested in her services.

Apparently, the arrival of the offspring won’t just prompt SJP to take a break, but to give up acting completely. Aside from the newborns, she’s also taking care of her and Matthew’s own son who is turning 7 this year. I guess she decided to give up the bright lights of stardom for the glamorous life of being a mother. I think it has more to do with the fact that she no longer attracts the type of projects that will want to be seen by a lot of people. Aside from the SATC movies (which I am fairly certain she will milk for all it’s worth) I really don’t see her doing anything else. Except maybe of course a remake of Black Beauty. I know, bad joke. I almost went an entire week without posting a blog entry about car wreck and reformed vag licker Lindsay Lohan, but when I came across these photos of her taken some time last week, I just felt compelled to say something about them. So in this case, I don’t know which of them is the better carpet muncher. Who asked for what first? Only these two know the answer to that, and they’re not talking.

So all in all it’s been a pretty eventful week for Lindsay. Of course, this is all just conjecture. We will never know what happened for sure, we can only imagine. But there lies the fun, right? For months now, there has been grumblings and twitters about what has really been happening inside the super girl group The Pussycat Dolls and it’s lead singer Nicole Scherzinger. It all began when the group released their adaptation of the Oscar-winning theme song to the film Slumdog Millionaire entitled Jai Ho with the single reading “Jai Ho – Pussycat Dolls featuring Nicole Scherzinger”. Naturally, eyebrows went up. If Nicole is part of the group, even leading it, then why did she have a “featuring” credit on the single? This prompted speculation of her leaving the team, but that pretty much died down as well. Then another single was released with the same “featuring” credit and now people were really concerned, including the other Dolls.

The whole thing blew up this past weekend when, while opening for Britney Spears‘ tour, one of the Dolls Melody Thornton screamed at the cheering crowd “Thank you for supporting me even though I’m not FEATURED!” You could almost hear crickets for a second, that’s how tense and awkward things became. Because everyone knew what she was saying – What are we, your back-up dancers? It’s true, the rest of the girls don’t even sing back-up in the new record, let alone leads in some songs. Nicole gets to do her own thing (commercial endorsements, ad campaigns, solo recording contracts) and the rest of them get nil. If I were them, I’d be pissed as well!

What is unclear though, is how much of this is actually Nicole’s own doing. True she’s the lead singer of the group, even responsible for writing and arranging some of their songs, but word is it’s the record company that’s pretty much pushing her to the forefront. I’m starting to believe that with this recession, everybody’s doing cutbacks – even on girl group members! It’s probably one giant conspiracy, not to let Nicole break free of the group, but for the record company to dissolve the Dolls completely! My conspiracy theorist is coming out, and before I start spewing stuff about Area 51 and the Kennedy assasination, I’ll shut up now. All I know is that these five fine gals better stay together long enough for them to do a Playboy shoot or something. Or, come to think of it, they should split up, have their career’s go up in flames, and then they’d be desperate enough for Playboy! Even though we’ve pretty much seen her tits with her numerous nipslips and see-throughs, Lindsay Lohan may finally do the thing that all down-and-out, still-struggling-to-hold-on-to-their-career, desperate-to-still-be-relevant actress do: go topless. Sounds like the plot to some shitty movie where we’re supposed to feel sorry for strippers, right? Sure it does, but in this case it’s real. And it’s with Lindsey. Which, to be perfectly honest, is actually sadder.

But not to worry. We’re not talking about some shitty Vegas strip joint with a bouncer named Bubba and strippers named Candi, Tiffani, Amber, and the like. We’re talking about the huge Vegas extravaganza called Peepshow currently starring General Hospital actress Kelly Monaco and Spice Girl Melanie B that had a splashy, star-studded opening recently. LiLo attended one of the performances and supposedly liked what she saw. And I’m not talking about the topless dancers, as she may or may not have turned her back on cunt-licking. She liked the performance so much that she supposedly talked with one of the producers of the show about possibly joining them on their next run.

Wow, first rumors of porn, and now a topless Vegas strip show? Lindsay is really at the end of her rapidly fraying rope. Two things concern me now. One: she should have done this years ago, when her boobs were still pert and bouncy, instead of saggy and limp like they are now. Two: how low has your career gone when the only job you can get is replacing Kelly Monaco or Mel B? Sad sad state of affairs indeed. But, at least for all of you horny young men out there (this guy included), the sight of live Lindsay boobage is something I would definitely pay good money to see. In a world where paranoia is increasing exponentially, it’s easy to give in to the fears and whisperings of danger lurking around every corner. Carcinogens in sugar, transfat in butter, cholesterol in broccoli - stuff like that. In our modern times, there are so many red flags waving in front of our faces warning us of the things we eat, stuff we wear, land we live in, even the air we breathe. We can do one of two things - either not listen to the paranoia, or completely give in to it. Unfortunately one such Gwyneth Paltrow has taken on the latter route. As a result, she doesn’t shampoo.

She apparently is frightened of the environmental toxins that live in shampoo and other everyday items. She’s scared not just for herself but for her kids as well. Especially for her kids, since their metabolisms are still in their developing phase and may not break down these toxins as fast as grown-ups can. My question is: When did Gwyneth Paltrow get so crazy?

Okay, so I understand the whole being overly-cautious thing, but it seems that these days things are just getting so ridiculously out of hand that we fear every single thing we see and experience. And now, if someone like Gwyneth Paltrow, an influential A-list actress admired by many as one of the sanest people in Hollywood would spew nonesense like “Don’t shampoo!”, imagine how many smelly-haired people we’d encounter everyday.

Maybe Gwyneth should focus more on getting her sexy back rather than walking around with unshampooed hair looking like an absolute trainwreck. I remember back when she was the hot “it” girl. Everyone wanted to work with her. Every guy wanted to fuck her. Apparently getting married to a rock singer and popping out kids will tone your sexy down. Okay, so maybe it’s just the not-shampooing. Talk about ungrateful Hollywood stars. They do their damnedest to force themselves into the spotlight, taking any role in terrible movies just to pad their resume and gain “experience”. Then, lo and behold, a breakout role in a movie or TV series comes their way and the media frenzy descends upon them turning them from a nobody who sucks penis between community theater roles, to bonafide household names. Then, for all the things the media has done for them, they go and act like a bitch when the media approaches them. Such a thing has happened with Heroes actress and direct-to-video starlet Hayden Panettiere.

According to Us Magazine, she “lost her cool at an event in Hawaii over the weekend. The 19-year-old star — who recently broke up with Milo Ventimiglia because of her club-going ways — was testy when she first stepped on the red carpet at a fundraiser benefiting the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific Foundation Sunday in Honolulu. ‘Back up!’ she yelled at photographers. After posing for photos, she rushed by reporters. A female television reporter touched her shoulder and asked, ‘May we talk with you, Hayden?’ Miffed, the actress jerked her head around and screamed, ‘Don’t you ever touch me!’ She then icily asked a red carpet handler, ‘Oh, am I supposed to do interviews?’ Approaching various media outlets, she snapped again: ‘You all make my life miserable’ and refused to answer any questions.”

Well! I! Never! Given that she was languishing in small guest roles and straight-to-dvd sequels to Bring It On (okay, ONE sequel) and has now become one of Hollywood’s most talked-about young celebs, you’d think she would be a bit more accommodating to the people who actually give her buzz. What was she doing being cunty in the first place? It was a public event, she knew press was gonna be there, she was contractually obligated to talk to them, so what’s your damage, Heather? She better be careful ’cause once Heroes gets canceled (and I’m pretty sure that day is coming soon) she’ll be back buried in obscurity and turning tricks along Hollywood Boulevard for crack-money. When that happens, I’ll be the first one to drive up to her corner.

Sure, Jennifer avoided the red carpet opting instead to go through the back door — no doubt a smart move else she’d be answering two million different versions of the question “How do you feel about Brad and Angelina being here?”. She probably just thought she’d do her bit and leave and that would be it. Well, I am here to tell you…

That’s exactly what happened.

Yes, that’s right. A perfect chance for one of the sexiest catfights of all time, one that will be talked about at water coolers and lunch breaks for eternity, was ruined by just plain politeness and avoidance. The two shared the same air for like a brief instance when Jen was on stage and Brad and Angie were in the audience not ten feet away. But aside from a few awkwardly random cutaway shots to Angie during Jen’s shtick, nothing really happened. I was expecting jello-flinging at the very least! Okay, maybe a raised eyebrow or two, but even that was withheld. Damn these dainty Hollywood actresses!

I guess I’ll just have to wait ’til Jen and Angie do an updated version of Whatever Happened To Baby Jane to wait for them to duke it out.
